Health and safety is paramount to every aspect of our tree and hedge work..
Safety is a huge consideration for any arborist - tree surgery business, both from the point of view of the personal safety of our staff, customers and the general public and in terms of protecting buildings, structure close by, gardens, landscaped areas and cars.
To ensure that safety:
- We approach all of our projects with good planning and prepare detailed site and risk assessments and method statements prior to work being undertaken.
- We use up to-date equipment and machinery, which is checked regularly for safety.
Prior to starting and during work, we ensure the site is safe using signage and barriers, plus road closure and traffic management systems if required.
- All our operatives undergo frequent first aid training and undertake regular aerial rescue practice.
- Our Health and Safety policy details responsibilities and activities necessary to maintain a safe working environment.
